is  a question we cannot bear

to leave unanswered

a poem is the journey

between the dream and the question

between the  awakening and the answer

we cannot bear

that which we so ardently wish for

there is no  shattering

greater

than the brutality of

a dream come true

the reality of

so many dreams

come true

we cannot bear

that  dream

that reality

that brutality

we cannot wake up from.
